Snowflake
Stream Teachfloor xAPI events into a Snowflake table as native VARIANT. Auto-created schema, RSA key-pair authentication, ready to query from Snowsight, dbt, Looker, Tableau, or any BI tool the moment the first flush lands.
Features
Native VARIANT, no schema migrations
Events are stored in Snowflake's native VARIANT type. Query nested fields with colon-path syntax and explicit casts (event:data.actor.account.name::STRING), pipe into dbt models for typed analytics tables downstream — all without a schema migration when Teachfloor's payload evolves.
Key-pair authentication, no password rotation
Uses Snowflake's recommended RSA key-pair auth for service integrations. No passwords to rotate, no MFA blocking the write path, fully compatible with accounts that enforce zero-password policies on service users.
Multi-cloud, canonical xAPI
Runs against Snowflake accounts on AWS, GCP, or Azure. Every row is a full xAPI 1.0.3 statement — actors, verbs, activities, results, context — portable to any LRS or downstream analytics workload.
